People don’t need more ways to meet strangers. They need a better way to stop being strangers.

There are plenty of ways to meet people you’ve never met. Meeting them isn’t really the hard part.

01

Groups, not pairs.

One stranger can feel like a whole thing. Six is just going out. You get to see people around other people, which tends to tell you more anyway.

02

We choose the group.

Six interesting people don’t necessarily make a good group. We care about the vibe of the room, not just who’s in it. So we choose it.

03

We host it.

Putting six strangers in a group doesn’t make them a group. We stick around long enough to get things moving.

04

We leave.

The point isn’t to host forever. It’s to get the group to the point where we don’t have to.

And then…

Friend. Date. Someone you see twice a year but really like.

You can figure that part out.
